Cacerola de Hamburguesa (Hamburger Pie)
Serves 4
| 1 lb | ground beef |
| 1/2 cup | chopped onion |
| 1/2 tsp | salt |
| dash pepper | |
| 1 can | cut green beans, drained -- (16 ounce) |
| 8 oz | Arriba! Mild Red Salsa |
| 5 | medium potatoes -- cooked |
| 1/2 cup | milk -- warmed |
| 1 | egg -- beaten |
| 2 oz | processed American cheese -- shredded |
In large skillet, cook meat and onion until meat is lightly browned and onion is tender.
Add salt and pepper.
Add drained beans and Arriba! Mild Red Salsa; pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Mash potatoes while hot; add milk and egg.
Season with salt and pepper. spoon in mounds over casserole.
Sprinkle potatoes with cheese.
Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 25 to 30 minutes.
